Cricket
The cricket ranges is size from ½” to 11/8” in length. They range in color from black to brown to a yellowish-red. You can identify them by their large jumping legs. They have slender antennae that are longer than their body. They have two antennae that extend from behind their abdomens.
Mole Cricket
This cricket is approx. ½” long. Their color ranges from light to dark brown. They have large front legs that are used for digging. They have wings and two light marks on their head.
Grasshopper
Range in different sizes up to 21/4”. They are brown, green, yellow and black in color. They have big long legs in the back for jumping. They have very distinctive eyes, small antennae, and two sets of wings. In large numbers they can cause serious damages to crops.
