Copperhead Snake
Range in size from 20 to 40 inches. It has a copper like tone on the dorsal side of its head. The copperhead has a chestnut color with bands of dark brown. The bands of dark brown are in the shape of an hour glass. These snakes are venomous. Bark mulch, rock areas, under wood piles, leaf piles, firewood, storage boxes, under rocks, and heavy foliage are just some of the areas these snakes like to hide.
